The scan is used directly for your Invisalign simulation, crown fabrication, or other treatment planning.
The iTero wand is passed over your teeth, capturing thousands of images per second to build a complete 3D model of your mouth. The entire scan takes just a few minutes — no gooey material, no gagging, no waiting for trays to set.
The resulting 3D model is sent digitally to the lab for fabrication or used directly by your dentist for treatment planning. With Invisalign, the iTero scan allows us to show you a simulation of your final tooth position before you begin treatment.
